Pablo Zuazo is a Brazilian-born jazz pianist, singer and songwriter who’s genre-defying sound zigzags between jazz, Brazilian music and electronica.
He was born in São Luís do Maranhão. While still a child moved to Porto Velho, capital of the State of Rondônia. It was there where he had his first guitar lessons with his father at the age of seven. A few years later he began studying piano influenced by Tom Jobim, Nat King Cole and Dick Farney, artists he listened to daily on the family's turntables.
Singing emerged as an artistic expressiveness necessity, since the musician from early on showed a lot of passion for Brazilian popular music.
Pablo moved to the city of São Paulo at the age of 16, when he joined professionally in music as a pianist and keyboardist, accompanying popular artists on São Paulo's music scene. He was also part of the city's intense, creative and rich university music scenario as a singer, composer and pianist.
